I just came from the local pawn shop. To my amazement they had a brand new glock 37 in their case, which of corse i had to handle since i had never actually got to see one yet. Here is where the story starts to go south they want $684.95 for it, and they dont have ammo for it. There is a gun store about 20 min away that told me over the phone that they have it for $589.95 and they have ammo for it. I dont think i want to pay either of these prices since it is much cheaper online via auction sites and i have a guy who will do $10.00 transfer fees. The gun store price seems a little high to me but at least it is within the normal market range for this area, but the pawnshop price is just plain crazy. I am interested to see what the glock 37 is selling for in other places.
Here the prices are .9mm, .357sig .40s&w full size ~$550.00
compact ~$570.00
sub ~$580.00
.45 and 10mm are all going to be 590.00 to low 600.00's

Thanks for the feed back.^d

My local dealer has them for $459 plus tax. You want one then shoot me an email and I'll hook you up. He just got in his 2nd batch and they're going pretty quick.

I paid $509 for mine, but that was because it was the first one in the store!

I am seeing them for $499 around Atlanta.

Seems like there are plenty g37's but not enough ammo, You would think that glock would have got togather with the ammo makers to make sure that there would be plenty of ammo ready for the launch of the g37, seems like a win win situation glock sells more pistols(i know they already sell plenty of pistols, but like any company they want to sell more). Many of use would still buy the gun with no ammo on the shelf because we know it can be found online. But there are alot of folks who buy firearms that wouldn't come near the internet. These are the inital sales that glock is missing out on due to an ammo shortage (depending on where you live, and how you purchase ammo.;c ;c ;c ;c ;b

That's always the case. Back when the 357 sig P229 was released, it was out months before Federal had the 125 gr ammo out. I sat there with a brand new gun that I couldn't even shoot because they were not ready to ship the ammo out yet. There is a ton of GAP ammo at any cheaper than dirt.

yeah i saw the top glock post. Im gonna get mine of the internet there is no way im gonna pay these high prices where i live, i belive in supporting the local gunstore but im not gonna let him rape me on prices either i will still give them my carry ammo business but walmart kicks their butt on practice ammo .40 value packs 14 and change cant beat it, well you may beat the price but you will have to wait on it in the mail. If the local places had lower prices they would make more money off me in the long run because i would buy more guns...I can surely afford more 450.00 guns than 680.00 guns.

Now if i could just make up my mind between g37 or g23 I want each for their own reasons but this upcoming purchase is going to have to calm the buy more glocks urge for a little while.;c ;g

P.S. if you would like to buy a glock for $750.00-$800.00 let me know i have as many as you want.^d ;!

I fondled one today. $559. The usual suspects at this gun store, which happens to have the best prices in town, is $499 (G23, G17, G19, etc.

I paid $469 for mine at the Tampa gun show a couple months ago...
Talked him into a free box of ammo - so gun, tax, and 50 rounds was right at $500 even...
