I usually replace the stock recoil spring and rod with a captive stainless rod/spring. Looks like a G17 size is the ticket, but what spring strength? 17#, 21# ?
I think I've answered my own question with a little research. I'm gonna try a G17 ss rod with 17# captive spring. Can't seem to delete this thread, though. DannyR, can you help?
