i'm looking for a mag well for my g17. i'd like to find one that is acceptable for USPSA production. any experience , good or bad, would be appreciated. i'll also need extended magazine base plates...
thanks!
first off no magwells are ok for USPSA production class. that considered a change to the frame a no no. same thing for base plates.
but for limited or limited 10 i've had good luck with the JP magwell and i'm going to get a THE brass magwell soon. talyor freelance base pads work good so do Arradondo or dawson.

We carry the THE magwells which are the best magwells for the Glock. As mentioned you cannot use a magwell in Production.
Matt,
Is the THE magwell the one that needs trimming to fit the IPSC box?
If it is, what sort of trimming is required?

Yes it needs some trimming to fit the box but unless you are shooting outside of the USA in Standard division you dont have to worry about it. The rear heel needs about 1/4 inch removed.
Thanks. I picked up a G35 last Saturday and am trying to nail down the list of mods/parts I'm going to get. I'm setting it up for L10.

L10 and Limited do not use the box.
