Exactly :) Plus, this whole forum is dedicated to the "little black handgun".....we need a place to discuss his older, more experienced relative....the black rifle.

Well, err....that's what's coming on mine ;e Didn't really want it, but there was a little mix up with my order(my fault), and I got if for the same price as the regular A2 anyways. I do like the looks of it better than the regular stock though. Hopefully in september I can trash it and get a real collapsing stock.

I decided on the Bushy A2 stock, A3 upper..16 in barrel...no muzzle break...hopefully its not gone when Im ready..or it'll be a Bushy M4 with the muzzle break.I know, I know..but Im not waitin'!!!!! hahaha....it has the fixed tele stock and M4 style barrel for $800....Im not real sure of the difference of the regular light 16 in barrel and the M4 stlye 16 in barrel....??? got any clues other than looks....?

Not too much difference besides looks really, and weight. Unless you want to mount a grenade launcher(that's what the cut out is for on the M4 barrel), there's no practical reason to get the M4 except for looks. Theoretically, the heavier the barrel, the more accurate it will be. But I doubt you could tell a difference side by side on a 16" barrel. Also, the heavier barrel on the M4 can absorb more heat than the light weight barrel. But I doubt that really matters unless you rapid fire 500 rounds or shoot it full auto.

I had ordered the M4 last week, but it was out of stock and I couldn't get a firm answer when it would be in stock again. So I cancelled it today and am having them 2nd Day Air the regular A4(A3) upper which has a heavy barrel under the hand gaurd and is turned down on the exposed part of the barrel.

What'd you order and where'd you order it from?

I ordered a Bushmaster Patrolmans Carbine (http://www.bushmaster.com/le/weapons/bushmaster_xm15_e2s_patrolman_16.htm) from a firearms exporter (www.weareguns.com). I am currently waiting for the State Department to approve the Export License, which I hear can take 1-5 weeks. This is week 3 ;)

This waiting is eating me up from the inside ^7

You're not gonna believe this!! I was doing a routine scan through our companys anti-spam logfile. Guess what I found:

A message with the subject: "You export license has been approved". Somehow the word "approved" has been configured as a spam-word and therefore the email was dropped!! It was sent on the 9th of Jan!!!!

Yes yes yes. I would love a AR club. Pistols are ok, shotguns are ok, bolt guns are ok but AR's are the ***** for me. Everytime I leave it at home I end up wishing I would have brought it.
