G30 price check.

Since Ohio CCW finally passed, I've been looking for a G30, and think I found a good one. Just wanted to run it past you guys, since you have much more knowledge about these guns than I do.

It's in the old style tupperware box (does not really bother me, not buying it for the damn box anyway) and the seller claims it has less than 50 rounds through it. Looks very good, no holster wear, and very few marks. Comes with 4 Glock factory 10 round mags. Price is $385. After shipping, FFL transfer fees, background check, etc I'm looking at about $435 total shipped to my FFL.

What do you think?

I say go for it. That thing could have 500 rounds through it and it'll still function like new.

Considering that topglock charges $509 for a new one with 2 magazines, +$15.00 for shipping and $18.00 for each 10rd. mag and whatever your local FFL charges for a transfer; you're getting an awesome deal!

As described, that is a VERY good deal. Run, don't walk, to grab it.

But...

1. Arrange the FFL first, get all fees and details understood.
2. Pay with credit card, in case of fraud, you cat get reimbursed OR
3 Use POSTAL money order so that fraud is a FEDERAL crime.
4. For MO or other items you send to seller, get return receipt or delivery confirmation, and follow up by getting in touch after seller receives it.
5.Call the seller and talk to them in person before completing your bid. You can learn a lot about the person on the other end of the trasaction. If ANYTHING sounds wrong or squirrley, walk away before you commit to the deal.

If all goes well, you will love the G30. You might want to read my post about proper reassembly regarding position of guide rod/recoal spring assembly. Avoid my difficulty.
