G21 barrel swap with G30?

Will the G21 barrel drop right into a G30 (even though it's a bit longer)?

Unfortunately the stock Glock G21 barrel will not work in a G30. The barrel lugs of the G21 barrel will not work with the locking block that is in the G30's frame. If you want a longer than stock length barrel in your G30, you will have to get an aftermarket barrel for the G30. What about putting a G21 locking block in a G30?

I highly doubt that the locking block from a G21 would fit properly in the G30's frame. I am just assuming. I am not a Glock armorer, nor do I play a Glock armorer on TV;) ;f , I just don't think it will line up properly in the G30's frame. I have a G21, but I don't have a G30 to tinker with, so I can't try it out myself. If it can be done, it’s the first I heard of it. Hopefully some of the more Glock experts here on GT and folks that have both the G21 and the G30 will chime in on this subject.:)

AZGlock13 I notice your tag line, AZGlock13 (G19, G20, G21, G23). Does that mean that you have both a G19 and a G23?

If so then could you tell me if the locking blocks are the same or if they can be swapped? More specifically if they are not the same, can you put the G23 block in the G19?

HKP7M8, Yes I do and yes they are (only on the 3-pin frame style G19s, the older style 2-pin frame G19s use a different locking block). I have seen your thread "Convert a G19 to a G23?", in General Glocking, this morning. I have given a more detailed response there.:)
