View Full Version : Back from the Gun Show
So, I picked up a couple Eagle Arms stripped lowers for $158. Sequential numbers.... lol I dunno why, but I think it's going to be cool to have two guns with sequential serial numbers. Man these things look nice. I can't wait until I get my motorcycle sold so that I can put one together.
I also picked up three magazines. The vendor was selling them as 'Euro-Contract' mags. They looked to be new, but were not packaged, just oily. I bought two 30 rounders and one 20 rounder for $42. They're a gray color with green followers. He gave me a card and promised to replace them if they didn't work perfectly. Anyone know anything about these magazines? No writing on them to ID them by.

Congrats....Great find! I think I'm going to go to our next show and try to pick up a couple of stripped EA lowers too. I'm trying to stay positive about the AWB and gun control in general, but there could very well be a day when we can't buy AR's anymore. Time to stock up. It's nice to find them at a show too so you don't have to pay for an FFl transfer. You got a great price.
I don't know anything about the mags, they look good though :)
Yea, the company (Quantico Arms) that I was going to get the lowers from was at the show, so I went there knowing what I was going to get and who I was going to get them from. Saved me shipping and the crazy FFL fee I was quoted ($40).
Then I came across the magazines that look, at face value, to be decent. I wish I had a way to test them.... I'd buy a few more from the guy.
I also picked up some cleaning brushes, swab, and a 9mm jag.

Ahhh...no wonder you got them for such a good price. They have the best price on the internet. I have a feeling they won't make it to the TX gunshows, so I'll have to pay more if I can find them....or just order them and pay the transfer fee. One dealer in my area wanted....$50 for a transfer!!! I laughed my way out the door and finally found someone to do it for $25. To me, $25 is still a lot for 5 minutes of "work", but they've got to make a living somehow.
