What would be the legalities involved in buying a DIAS to put in a LE-only (marked) weapon? The gun was manufactered AFTER the '94 ban, but is a stamped LE-only gun. It has those evil little features like a collapsable stock and a flash hider. Just curious as to if this would be legal. Thanks.
I'm honestly not sure what, if any, extra limitations are on a "LE Only" gun. However, a regular postie can have all the evil features once you install a DIAS.
My guess is that you'd be OK, but don't quote me on that.

Thanks...I "googled" the term DIAS, and found lots of info. My question has been answered through there, but thanks again.
