Hi everyone, I am completing my first build, and have a question about the hammer spring. I am following the directions that say to install the spring on the hammer with the feet of the spring pointing rearward away from the hammer, and the shoulder of the spring on the back of the hammer. But on my spring, the should is on the front. The feet of the spring face rearward away from the hammer, but the shoulder is on the front of the hammer. Is there something wrong with the spring, or is that correct? According to the instructions, thats incorrect. Also need to figure a way to get that pivot detent in there. Pain in the ass. Thanks for the help

Got the hammer installed, put in the selector, and its loose in the receiver, and doesnt click in place when moving to either fire or safe. Any ideas?

Not yet, but I dont think thats gonna be a problem. I also had the grip on, but not screwed on, when I was playing with the selector. Im gonna pick this up again tomorrow. I think the reason my selector is so loose is because the detent is not in there right....its really tight in its hole. So, now Im working on trying to get it out.

The grip contains the safety detent and spring. Your safety isn't going to work until the grip is correctly installed.
