for coming out and having a blast (literally). I will say that I'm pretty much convinced I have to buy some tannerite of my own. The displays of its power were truly awesome!
Thanks also to RG and frisco for bringing out some very fine NFA weapons...and for the .50! I should have pictures developed soon (sorry no digital cam here yet) but I'm not sure how well they will turn out.
If anyone who does not already have access to the property is interested getting a lease setup, PM me and I'll provide contact info for the owner.
Man I'm tired and I still have to unload the truck!
I hope somebody got that beer keg on video...;h

Oh god yes! Man, those people out in Las Vegas don't have jack on us Texans! That was probably the most awesome sight of the day. I think C Doc had his camera going, but if he captured it I don't know.

Many thanks for the invite. It was literally a blast!
I'm going to be talking about that trip for quite awhile.
I'm wishing I had brought the video cam, that flying beer keg would have made for great TV.
I'm now just looking at a pile of guns that need cleaned. I tried talking my wife into it but she just looked at me and said, you shot it, you clean it. Oh well....

Whoa, had a great time. Those nice 'little' explosions startled my wife everytime! It was nice seeing everyone again - and thanks to all who let me borrow their weapons, just fuel for my fire to hurry and buy some new toys of my own. Thanks for oppurtunity to come out ProGlock, it beats a 'regulation' range any day of the week. Oh and, if you ever want to know whats it like to shoot a 3" magnum 12ga out of that 14" Mossy - just ask me, my strong hand was stinging for a few minutes there..... Can't wait to get some pictures developed.

I wish I did but my hearing protectors decided to drain their batteries just before that so I was changing them in the truck when the keg was taken out (so I never even got a chance to see it go). Whoever had the video please message me, I would like a copy.
Here is a computer monitor going bye-bye. Zoom in and you can see the parts fly.
More photos from the day.
There are days when all of us want to do this...
Do you think IBM will take this monitor back.
(Interesting difference between a what a pistol will do to a monitor [see below] and a .50 [see previous post] )

My thumb still hurts from the pistol grip on the shotgun 34. I think I'll stick to a full stock from now on.
Propane... What propane?? (Compare with PICT0013.jpg a couple of posts back)

I am prud to say I took that shot with the AR50. Thanks to the seriously sick individual who provided the rifle and ammo.
Good pics C Doc!!!! My wife took some pretty good pics I will try to get them posted when they are developed and my dumb %*$ can figure out how to use a scanner.

Holy crap! Those exit holes are from my 10mm!! That baby kicks ass. I wish I'd taken pics of it killing lexan that 0100010 brought. We waylayed with some 9mm as I recall but that lexan was holding its own. I whipped out the G20 with 6" barrel and got penetration with Winchesters and managed to knock off a small piece - my souvenir!
C Doc, correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think I also laid into this sucker with the MP5 (see the groups?) Can't remember who else laid waste to this thing.
Also, sorry for the delay, but it looks like I won't be able to get my pics done until this weekend. But don't worry, they will be posted!

When a rifle like the .50 still makes you jump when it's fired, you know that's a good rifle ;f

Yeah, right, she says, having voluntarily cleaned the 2 dirtiest of 4 dirty firearms for her loving husband!;)
ProGlock, you HAVE to have another one of these get-togethers later this summer or early fall! I wanna go next time!

heh - dave looked like he was having fun with his AK. I forgot to get around to trying that one out...would have liked to put about 10 rounds through it.
Don't worry, we'll definitely have to do this again. Many other people have already been bugging me "why wasn't I invited?!" Like I know everyone who lives in this area .... ;Q

I'll send the AK and the drum mag out with Vicky for the next shoot. I've got to put a new stock on it as the cheap piece of junk that was on there cracked.....

In the pic of the destroyed PC, you can see CDocs 9mm entrance holes, you can see my 357sig entrance holes nad you can see ProGlocks 10mm exit holes, plus the damage from the #7 shot from the shotguns. I've got some pics of the Lexan too, just need to get them developed, hopefully will do that tonight.

Hey Dave-
Jason here- the guy next to you at the CHL class.
Next time y'all get together and I'm available, I'll bring the trusty Glock 20 and the Scattergun Tech Standard model. I figure my meager contribution of assorted DoubleTap ammo and some 12ga slugs and buck might add a little flavor to the mix.
Between the newborn (3-1/2" and 4 pounds growth in the first MONTH!) and work, I couldn't make it this time, but maybe next time.
Maybe I can get a hold of my Class III/NFA dealer friend by next time, too...

Jason,
Congrats on the newborn! Pm me on the specifics, Vicky will want to know. Our #3 is on the way in July.
The shoot was literally a blast. Hadn't had that kind of fun in quite awhile.

OK, finally got some image developed.....
Here is a shot of the propane
And the keg! (you can sort of see the keg on its way up (kinda blurry).
Some weapons, Daves FMC and Mak90, my G32.....
Me shooting ProGlocks 14" Mossy.
And the wife having fun with her first semi auto rifle. (Thanks Dave!)
Tried to get of shot of her aiming - you can see the splash in the water where she hit a bottle.
And look at that smile....
