mag changes and pinching

Hey, what do you guys do about changing mags without pinching the meaty bottom [part of your hand holding the G30???? For myself anyway, this is one advantage the G23 has on the chunky lil G30.

Some feel the pinch, others don't.
I do.
I've replaced all my G30 and G36 mag floorplates with Pearce versions.
Problem solverd.

I'm still working on it. I caught my pinky during an IDPA stage. It wouldn't come loose until I hit the mag release. I had to suck it up like one of the guys but I could barely move my finger the next day.

Do the "I'm a British Tea-drinker" thing and lift your pinky out of the way as you hit the mag release. One pinched finger was enough for me, and I have small hands so it's not normally a problem, but once my grip wasn't quite where it normally was and OUCH!

Pearce grip extensions can fix the problem for large hand people, but if your finger gets caught between the mag and frame, it won't...which is why I lift my finger. I use standard 10-shots.
