well i had a stovepipe today:( was wondering if anybody else had one? it happed on my first mag then never happend again after that.

Were you shooting factory loads or handloads? Have shot lots of both and have not had any stovepipes with any factory ammunition. When developing new loads for my Glock 37, I have had several due to too low a velocity to cycle the slide but that problem is easy for me to fix.

i was using factory speer. maybe it was just that one round that was not made very well? what are the main reasons for stovepipes?;c

limp wristing is the main reason. other than that poor maintainence is the only other one i can think of but i'm sure theres more.
