They "can" live happily together in the same safe.

I have both: Romarms SAR-1 and Bushmaster 20" Match Target. They co-exist peacefully as "comrades." The Bushy is far more accurate, though, but the AK is a hoot to shoot and to take apart and clean - not a fussy rifle at all. Now we need a rifle that combines the best features of both: the accuracy and ergonomics of the AR and the simplicity and reliability of the AK.

Yep, I have a Norinco Nhm-91 and a Romanian Sar-1 as well as an Olympic Arms Ar-15. They do live happily ever after.;)

My two USA made Colt AR's peacefully co-exist with my Russkie made VeprK! For commonality, they are all chambered to shoot the same mil-spec ammo.

They do compete for the front spot in my gun safe when I open it-much like the US and Russia trying to one-up each other at a UN Security Council Meeting.

the galil is a real IMI ARM in .308 not a clone I would love to have one in .223 or another in .308 galils are sweet:cool:

I'm jealous!!!!! A very nice rifle you have there. I too would love to have an ARM in 5.56! There was I guy on gunbroker who was selling "one of his" that was NIB, never even had a magazine installed in it's well!!!

I took the galil to the gunshow before last and had it up for display I almost sold it a bunch of times the closest I came was when I was offered a H&K 93 and a 91 both the guy wanted 1700.00 each in trade i almost did it.....I probally will next time...
