Even though I own a G-30, how hard would it be to change the '30' on the short's design to '.45' or '.45 ACP'???
I know you mentioned on the last batch that the reason they were only made in white was because the white of the shirt was used for the white in the picture (the dawgs eyes), and in order to that, the screen printer would have to redo the screens...so, IF you decide to do another batch, will he still be using those same screens?, or has he done away with them by now? If he has, this may be the perfect time to get rid of the '30' and PERHAPS and white to the new screens to offer at least one more color choice (white is SO unforgiving).

The original "shirt thing" happened. I tried to get another run started by jumping into this thread (i have been a little busy the last year or so). Why don't one of you artists take a run at it if Glocktiger won't/can't respond?

I think we need a new design....something like those t-shirts you see with the rottweiler's head, but it's got human-like arms making a muscle...but holding a Glock

and have it titled "big dawg" & "45 ACP" instead of "30" to keep from alienating 21 & 36 owners

and definately need a differant color than white - got to wear my last Big Dawg shirt about 2 times before I got something on it - black is my #1 choise, with grey or tan next choice

I'm still around, just haven't posted much lately. I've been getting some emails from folks interested in the shirts. I too was surprised to see the thread resurrected :).

Thanks to all for everyone's interest. For those who weren't aware, we've done 2 runs of shirts so far. This thread was starting to drum up interest for a third, but since it's a pretty big undertaking (both times I'd done it), I'm not feeling up to coordinating a third run at the present. I'm open to anyone else designing a shirt and having them made -- in fact, a lot of folks have made good points regarding the need for variety. When the first shirts were done, the 36 wasn't even out yet. And my original design wouldn't print well on a dark colored shirt. So it wouldn't be a bad idea for a "new Dawg" to step in and maybe get several shirts together.

If anyone needs consultation on how to design a multicolor screen print job, I'll be happy to help. I can advise regarding color interaction (traps), screen tints, using common screens for multiple designs, and so on. Remember that it's not as simple as throwing together a pretty picture in Photoshop or Paint and giving a disk to the Printer. I could save you some money on art fees (from Printers) by helping you design for a successful print job. Just drop me an email at glocktiger@hotmail.com (Glockmail has apparently shut down -- that's where I used to get my forum mail from).
