Hey guys...

My current plan is to order a new 'frame only' when they are available... (money reasons)

Anyone have an idea on how easy this will be to do?

The little metal tab on the underside which has the serial number... will it be blank so that I can use my existing one?
Is this something that a company like USASteyr would require I send in my old one first?

No idea how this would work, just asking now for something to think about in the months ahead :)

A few years ago I heard rumors of an "L" pistol in .45 ACP that would use 1911 magazines. Apparently, the prospect of bad 1911 mags causing reliability problems caused the project to be scrapped.

How about a Steyr in .45 GAP? ;f
