Just wanted to say thanks to the Steyr club. I haven't posted here before but have been ghosting and picking up information for a while now. Today I just ordered a M-9 LE package from CDNN. Great price on what I hope is a great gun.

I was hoping to have it by Thur. because I am leaving for Colorado to take a Handgun Class from James Yeager. Would have been nice to have it as a backup to my Glock 34.

How will this weapon compare to my 34? I also have a 26. I like both weapons, nothing to really get overly excited about like my Les Baer though.

Again, thanks for the help

Bore axis is noticeaably lower.Trigger travel is also noticeably less.More effort (trigger weight) than the 34,but also a little more crisp,to me.Sights are easier to acquire.Solid feel.Slide "play" is less on the Steyr.May experience some preliminary FTF or FTE problems,as a result,at least initially.I am not a competent enough shooter to detail accuracy differences. In the orange, at 25 yards is cause for personal celebration.
My $.02.

I think you'll love the M9. the M series are double tapping machines. My M40 gets me in trouble at my range sometimes because of it. No DT's allowed....;L ;J Anyway. She'll be tight when you first get her, but nothing 500 rds won't fix. Just make sure the extractor pin is properly aligned, and she lubed well, and you should be good to go. Welcome to the club and congrats on the purchase!!
