Clean and lube it.
Go to Walmart and buy 5 100 round Winchester Value Packs of ammo (prefer 165gr).
Go to range and shoot ALL of it then take it home and clean it. (your first trip will break the gun in ... if you're going to have the phantom "extracting into your face" problem it will be gone by the end of that first day).
Repeat as necessary
Also, go here for leather High Noon Holsters (http://www.highnoonholsters.com/)

I just went and got a bicycle innertube and streatched over the grip on my M40. Can't even tell it's there untill you pick it up.....
...it feel goooooood that way.;)
Yep, what Zund said.
Another holster source is Blade-Tech (http://www.blade-tech.com/frontend?command=Section&iSectionId=4328) They make some outstanding kydex holsters.
As far as grips go, I prefer the Agrip. A bit more expensive than the bike tube, IMHO its a touch better. Grips are totally subjective thing, though.
Congrats on the new M40....can ya post some pics of the other 4???? Nothing like Steyr porn!!

When you post a reply to a thread (or post a new thread) you will notice an "attach file" section under the box you type in.
Just make sure the image is a .jpg or .gif so it will display in the web browser (if its a .bmp people will have to download it and open it.)
Maximum size for attached files is 2048000 bytes (or about 2meg ... that's pretty large for a forum!)
See the image I attached for more details
