Just had to try one. Had a little pause in the store when I noticed that I had to eject the magazine to drop the slide on an empty chamber/magazine. This isn't a defect IMO, I've seen other weapons with this feature but I'm not used to that on a Glock. I bought and went straight to the range with a box of Speer TMJ and some Gold Dots. I put about 75 rounds through it without incident. Shoots to point of aim, groups nicely and recoil is mild (IMO). The G30 shoots a little softer but I feel that rise and overall recovery time are about the same for me. I did notice that on at least one magazine the slide didn't lock back on the slide stop but was locked on the magazine instead. This is minor but a flaw just the same. It's something I'll have to look into. I can't imagain why anyone who like the G17 wouldn't take to the 37 right away. The ergs are very similar and the difference in recoil between the 9 and the GAP is so small that (again IMO) only someone who is very recoil sensitive would have an issue. This piece fits in a definite nitch where I'm concerned. I now have a ten round .45 caliber Glock that fits me like the G21, and G30 (long since traded) never did. I don't know if there's a long term future for this round, only time will tell, but I give it a thumbs up. ~2
