View Full Version : Henry Lever Action 22 lr
Well My post didnt get much attention up on the non Glock forum. So Ill post here. Anybody own a Henry Lever Action 22 lr? Any Good? What about accuracy?
I've had one for a year or so now it has beautiful wood is more accurate than I am and has hands down the slickest smoothest silkiest lever action of ANY gun I've ever tried bar none. I love mine :).
Got one for Christmas last year. It's a nice little rifle that will hit what I shoot at as long as my aim is right. :) And I agree that action is slick.
I love mine. It's good and accurate, and a real fun gun. At $186 you can't go rong. The only thing with this rifle, is the reciever is aluminum, so it's painted, not blued. When you're cleaning it, be careful with the solvents. I learned that the hard way.
Very well made litle gun. Very smooth action and fairly accurate. Nice price also. Buy it!
The one I just bought my girls is built like a tank and has the best trigger break of any stock lever action I have ever tried.
My Brother-in-Law has one and has taken 2 grey fox off of his front porch with it! Needless to say, He loves it!:)
I collect various lever action rifles. I have 8 of them so far. Four of which are in .22 rimfire:
I have the Browning BL-22 Classic
the Henry .22lr
the Winchester 9422 .22lr
the Winchester 9422M .22WMR
Out of all of them, my favorite is the Winchester 9422 in .22LR. Compared to my Henry, the Winchester is nicer.
I look at it this way: The Winchester is to the Henry as the Land Rover is to Toyota.
My Winchester .22's are much nicer than my centerfire Winchesters. I don't know why that is, but the company's little .22's have nice tolerances. The actions are very very smooth. Smoother than my Henry.
