Ordered a Steyr M9 for my birthday

My wife barely approved of it. Steyr M9 from CDNN Investments, a steal at only $279. This will be my first real pistol besides a CZ-52 (I'm mainly a rifle guy). I got an extra magazines with it, I would have gotten more, but I'm waiting for the hi-caps in September. I'll be sure to post the madatory pics and range report next week after I pick her up.
Anything I shoud know about these? I'm pretty familiar with them and have read all the info on the forums. I hear they just need a good 500 round break in, sometimes within the first 200 rounds, it will eject at your head. CDNN said that this is the last batch imported before the new M model comes out and they said that there aren't many steyr magazines left. Let's hope that I get a high serial number gun.

That's what I told my gf too about my AR and all the stuff I bought for it...A bday gift for TWO bdays, yet she still didnt like that I bought 2000+ rounds of ammo for it lol (good thing she doesnt know about the optics I got for it ;a )

I have 350 rounds thru my M9 with no problems and no cleaning. Will consider it broken in at 500 rounds.

Congrats on the gun, you will love it, I guarantee it. I have 3 from CDNN, they all function flawlessly.

During the break-in process, make sure you clean and lubricate the gun after every time on the range. Pay special attention to extractor area, and use toothbrush to clean behind it. That will eliminate "in your face" extractions. I have not had a single malfunction related to mechanism of the M9, if you don't count the dud round once in a while.
