And she's sweeeeeet. 100 rounds of WWB 165 gr FMJ, 50 rounds of WWB 165 gr JHP, and what a nice time I had. =)

I have an s40 on order, should be in by Friday. Is yours new? Did you have any difficulties (forehead shell casings hits, etc)? How are the trigger and the sights? I am accustomed to shooting a Sigma .40 with a VERY heavy trigger, I am hoping the s40 won't be too difficult to get used to.

Yeah, brand new from CDNN, SN 33XXX. Second trigger mark.

It's my first handgun, so I can't say too much. =)

I got one piece of brass on the shoulder (could have been off the roof of the firing line) none in the face. Trigger seemed fine -- smoother than a battle rifle. =) The only issue is the amount of slack in the trigger safety, there's a fair amount of take-up between contact with the trigger and first resistance. Recoil was very managable (though I'm not good at managing it yet), it throws a smooth jolt straight back with a small amount of flip. I was sorta puzzled, because my friend's M-40 seemed to come back harder and have more flip.

Sights: Sights are as good as billed.

I have a S-40 and it is a joy to shoot. it throws brass everywhere but not anywhere as bad as my Mini 14 so it dosent bother me at all. the recoil very managable and the trigger pull is great all in all one of the best handguns I have shot.
