View Full Version : Glock 32/Slide Lock Spring/Broke
Well I was shooting my newley aquired Glock 32 with the canned heat, was great and 80 rnds later it felt sort of spongy shooting. So I looked down and there was the take down lever on the counter. I took it apart and noticed the slide lock spring had broke. I really couldn't believe it cuz I have shot hundreds of rounds thru my other glocks and had not had a problem or breakage. Anyways got a friend who is glock armorer and had spare parts so I got the part and put it in and put another 50 rnds thru it without a hitch. Great gun, but it's a canon. Dead accurate. Just thought I would share this with you
sig 357 guys. It still fired and was operational!!!

Same thing happend a G19 I was shooting.
Replaced the part and no problems after that.
I was just hoping it wasn't ammo related, but I guess that part does break from time to time. Thanks screamin for the response, just curious how many people had this same problem.

I doubt it is ammo related.
If it makes ya feel any better both my G31-C and my pair of G33's have never had any problems at all:)
Thanks screamin, just never had any problems with any of glocks before so wasn't sure if the 357 sig round is just to hot. It's unbelievable the punch! I love it!!! lol

If you want a more accurate practice round try a few of the speer lawman.
BTW I shoot a ton of the canned heat and love the stuff:) (just not quite as accurate)
