Curious about the Wilson rifle as well. Saw it made Guns Front page. I have played with the LES Baer Rifle when I took the urban rifle class at Thunder Ranch. Very very touchy trigger. Was a very light rifle, but I still like my colt. (one week over 1200 rounds and not a single problem)

Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to get one while lliving in Cali...

I had the opportunity to inspect a Wilson AR at our local range. Wilson just assembles parts from various manufacturers, just like any of us might do at home. The Wilson I saw wasn't too much different from my Bushy Shorty and didn't group as well as my Shorty. The Wilson I saw had a RRA lower, JP trigger group (same as my Shorty) and what appeared to be a DMPS free-float tube. I didn't see anything particularly "custom" about it, except the price. :)

I think all I need is a Upper.
I have a preban lower.

Walter is correct, there's nothing special enough in the Wilson or Les Baer AR's to justify their prices.

Wilson or Les Baer AR's are basically post ban rifles at pre ban prices!

IMHO you'd be better off ordering a Bushmaster or RRA upper for less money.

Wilson's has great parts...but buy 'em yourself and put the rifle together....way too much money to buy one of theirs!
