CZ Announces new .45 GAP pistol

Picked this up from TheFiringLine.com:

CZ-USA has announcee that the RAMIs (sub-compact) in .45 GAP will be out
this fall. As they already come in .4o S&W and COLT built some prototype Z40s
in .45. The good folks at CZ might be able to put the GAP in the Mini-Z
and keep the dimensions that same. A P-01 in .45 GAP would be very nice.

Time will tell.

I've tried to email Pete at his webpage. Hope he will contact me about the
.45 GAP and CZ pistols.

Wow, good thing Glock is coming out with .45 GAP compacts to compete. ;) Comparing compact Glocks with other brands, Glock usually has a slightly longer barrel. A G27 style gap pistol will probably have a 3.5" barrel compared to the 3" RAMI barrel. And Glock grips can usually store the most cartridges, and in this sense Glock might have an advantage with the 45 GAP as well. Other brands might be able to match or get within 1 or so rounds of the Glock mag limit.

Sweet! I may have to get one. I'm still waiting for H&K and/or Steyr to make on in .45gap.:)
