So we did get the Mil Surp forum. So whats everybody got? I have a Russian Mak, Finnish M39 7.62x54R. Im waiting to get word on my C&R lics.

Next up probably a CZ52.

I've got a Russian M44 and a Yugo SKS. THe Yugo is really FUN to shoot but I've got to be "in the mood" the shoot the M44 as that steel butt plate really beats up your shoulder (if you shoot a rifle as seldom as I get to.....)

Will probably add a CZ52 to the gun safe next. Can't wait!

I started with Mosins and just got a CZ52. Get one you wont be disappointed. I think mine might be the most accurate gun I own. Based upon what a shooting instructor shot with it. Thes damn mil surps grow on ya.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Seems like I searched for one but the ones I usually found on-a-shelf were a little too wide for the relativly "narrow" M44 butt.
