So a thread on another board about an ATF inspection of an 03 FFL holder got me to wondering. As a casual collector with a residential address on my FFL, what are my responsibilies? To be honest, I haven't gone through all the materials the BATF sent me yet.

I see that I should be keeping a "bound book," like the little log book they sent in the package. No problem there. What about sales? I don't expect to sell many, but I do want to sell off one of my M44's to a friend, and will probably order a pair of CZ52's instead of just one to sell to another friend. Keep in mind, these will all be completely legal sales - I'll ask for all the items needed for private-party sale in my county of NC.

So I assume I need to add the sales page to a bound book, like in the link in the C&R info thread?

If you sell a C&R gun, all you have to do is log it out in the disposition section adjacent to the acquisition section of the original log entry.
