Going to order a couple of CZ-52's next week - who has the ammunition in stock? Looking for a good deal on new S&B, but I'm not too picky.

usually has it. about 7.75/50 S&B. Also, cheaper than dirt. I recently tried some Norinco and would add dont buy it is very inaccurate.

the czech surplus stuff is pretty hot, i think aim had it last, but in the cz-52 it wasnt exactly reliable, about 8 out of 40 rounds needed to be hit 2x before they would go. however in the PPSH-41 and PPS-43 the stuff only would have problems 1 in every 30-40 rds.

the s&b has given me no problems.

I will add to this that you should avoid "New Generation" 7.62x25. It comes in the red boxes, from South Africa, but is actually (I think) repackaged Romanian surplus. It has very hard primers. About half of the rounds wouldn't go off in my CZ-52. New commercial S&B has been perfect, though.

Most of the usual suspects seem to be out of S&B...

Anyone got a link to good surplus stuff?

I agree Norinco stinks for accuraccy. I bought 4 boxes at a gun show; what a mistake

Just as a FYI, Winchester's is sourced from S&B. If you see it somewhere that has both brands, the S&B is usually a bit cheaper and is the same ammo.

Done *lots* of research...

Cabela's has S&B in stock, but it's pricey - $9.xx a box. I also found Yugo surplus in lots of 420 rounds for $52.xx at LC Enterprises. I hear it's pretty hot - we'll see this weekend.
