Hello!
I just bought a used 3-mag pouch for my AR. Unfortunately one of the metal clips that holds it to the belt was broken ;g
Where can I find a spare one?

If you're referring to the Alice-type clips on a standard U.S.-style 3 mag pouch, I have to tell you, I hate them. They break, they bend, they come open and you drop things miles from where you finally notice these things are gone. If you simply MUST use them, I recommend using cable tie-wraps/zip-ties to keep the darn things closed and locked.
However, I just "skip the middleman" and use the heavy-duty cable tie-wraps themselves as belt loops for the pouches. You can use several in each loop for more security, or go to the really THICK ones if they're not too uncomfortable sandwiched between your belt and your body. And they come in several colors, including "tactical black", too!
Sorry I don't have a source for the original Alice clips, but the last three (count'em, THREE) times I tried to order some, even though I was personally assured they were all "mil-spec", they in fact turned out to be crappy import copies (even worse quality than the originals). So I gave up, and eventually started using the cable tie-wraps, which I'm very happy with.
Hope this is helpful...

No, you're right - I don't really need them. Great idea with the cable tie-wraps. I'll head off to the store and see if I can find some. ;c Thanks!!

You can find ALICE clips at Cheaper Than Dirt but, as prerviously posted, you're better off without them.

You can also go to www.lightfighter.com if they don't carry it, it's not a heavy duty piece of gear. Brad (the owner) is a former paratrooper and he supplies gear to the serious users (he's like a clearinghouse.....he doesn't make his own stuff, but he stocks all the good stuff that he or others have found to work) Tactical Tailor, Eagle, SOE, London Bridge, etc. They have about a dozen different types of mag pouches and attachment types. :)
