no failures of any kind. None. I work full time for the Sheriff, but part time as a reserve officer for a small Police Department (8 fulltime officers) Today we ran throught the annual qualification, stress shooting, and a pin match for FUN. I shot 800 rnds through my G22, worked every time. Six of the 8 full timers were there also, they also experinced no failures of any kind in thier 22's.
Thats 3200 rnds without a single problem.
Gotta love those Glocks.

Boringly great!!
You almost need to induce some problems during training and quals so the reaction won't be total disbelief/panic/confusion if it ever happened in reality.....

YAWN...
Gotta love boredom when it equates to zero malfs!;)
*yawn* couldn't you at least fake a FTF? Just kidding. It's a GLOCK, what did you expect?;)

It's a Glock you expect this from them.;)
That's the only number of failures I'd be comfortable with in a carry gun. Our "new" G17 is failure free in near as many rounds (not all at once though). Of course, our USP40c is, too. Gotta like that.

I've heard op some Range Officers and Instructors carrying a pocket full of "dummy" .40 or 9mm ammo
These are loaded at random into the mags of the students and officers qualifying to terach them to clear malfunctions.
I must admit that it is a very intersting experiment, one my own club runs- the results are surprising, the old hands usually fumble and take a long time to clear malfunctions, while the green horns clear em up quickly??
Encountering a dummy round also shows how well or badly one is pulling the trigger off the target, a reason for poor shooting is poor trigger pull and hand control.
But, that is surely exceptional reliability and performance from the G22, but expected.
