View Full Version : More Pix for ya
The Flight Deck has been a little slow so I figured I'd post some of my pix from my Seattle vacation.
I rented a C172 out of Crest Airpark and flew up to Victoria BC.
Here's a pic of the San Juan Islands on the way up.
Victoria Airport CYYJ. Not as big as you might think.
Pic of the plane and the FBO in Victoria.
Comming back into Seattle.
Safeco field. Top was open despite the on and off rain showers.
Here's a close up of the Seattle pic.
Back at Crest Airpark refueling, just barley beat the weather in. The guy at Boeing Field Customs was actually really nice. Most of the time the U.S. customs agents can be real Ass*****.
Very cool pics, looks like a beautiful part of the world.
Nice shot of Seattle.
I've got a radio-controlled 172 over my kid's bed. Nice plane.
Thats where I live. I always look up those planes when I see them flying past.
IKblair, I've heard that dead was a lazy horse's laziest trick of all, and it does no good to beat him.
Here is a photo of my new toy. This photo was taken in Hearne, Texas where I had stopped for fuel on the way from Ft. Worth to Houson.
Bet you could have some real fun in that thing.
It's a lot of fun. Check out this site for some inflight photos of my Pitts S-1T http://musclebiplane.org/htmlfile/henson1.html
The Pitts is for sale!
Nice pictures. I wish I had the money to afford that thing.
Neat pictures!! Can't believe I missed 'em before. This livens up our little forum. You guys wait right here, I'm going to go whip up a few.
I just had to throw in a few from MY vacation to Seattle...
Got my seaplane rating at Seattle Seaplanes -- in a '46 Stinson Voyager. The most fun I've had flying so far!
Hey, that's neat!!!
But, what are the blue patches above the horizon in the SEA area? That seems to be new...;P
Very cool pictures. Thanks for posting. :)
I'm a Seattle native and our summers have always been our little secrete. I've lived quite a few places around this country and I'd have to say that Seattle summers are the best. From June to August there is no better place.
Now the rest of the nine months out of the year are about the most depressing you'll see, nothing but gray skies for months on end. Great if you are getting your instrument rating. :)
Great photos of the Seattle area. That's a cool old Stinson. I have a couple of hours of dual in a float plane but don't have the rating.
Makes me want to get back in an airplane again.
