View Full Version : Shot the G30's little brother today
I got my hands on a brand new from Glock, never fired once G36 today. I cannot believe the difference in size!! And it shoots just as good as any other Glock I have had in my possesion. The owner of the gunshop I live at (I know some of you can relate ;)), his attorney was in picking his G36 up. He let me compare it for a while to my G30, swap the slides, etc...Well I went into the range and was making those awesome groups with my big dawg and he comes walking in. I st my baby down and he asked if Iwanted to try the 36. How can you turn down shooting another Glock!! He handed it to me and turn around and walked out!! I put his first 150 rounds through it (I didn't tell him that:cool: ) and I really really liked it! I also put the 36 upper on my 30 frame to try in out (thanks to the other thread). It worked flawlessly. Now it looks like I am gonna have a different Glock for everything that I do! Camping/fishing/hunting etc will be the big dawg, CC will be the G36 now, And I am also going to pick up a G23 for some strange reason (some call it addiction, I call it obsession!!). Man it sure is gonna be a long 2 weeks before I can get the 23 and 36...;f

The 36 is not the 30's little brother. It's the 30 with bulemia.

The 36 is quite simply the very best CCW carry gun made to date.
The 30 is a stubby 21.... ;z

First off, all Glocks are fired at the factory, there is no such thing as a never fired Glock if it has been bought at a gun shop. Just a technicality.
Second, does it not bother you, or make you wonder why an ATTORNEY would hand you a new gun and then walk out of the immediate area? Free to do what you please? Are you sure there were not any cameras pointed at you? Or someone else closely observing you? I am not pointing this out to scare you or anything. I don't think it there is a case pending against you. But, it sounds like someone was doing research for a case of some type.
That doesn't bother me at all. I personaly know this attorney, and have shot with him numerous amounts of times. He just bought it for his CCW, was picking it up, then I walked in the shop and was gawking at it, due to the size difference between the 30 and 36. Have you had a bad experience with a lawyer or something? I know there are some sneaky S.O.B.'s out there, but this guy is actually one of the good ones...

I'm with you. The 36 and the 19/23/32 are the perfect Glocks for me. I had a 30 briefly that I didn't care for. The full-size models feel like they have a diffrent grip angle and don't point as naturaly for me. I hated the 21 terribly, and the 30 was a little uncomforatble but the shorter grip made it better. Buying weapons in pairs is always wonderful!
