Greetings,

I ordered a Graham holster for my PM9. His website indicates
approx. up to 8 weeks to get product. For me, it has been
almost 12 weeks. No replies to e-mails. Anyone else experienced
the same thing? Any ideas? Thanks. :steamed:

It's been about six weeks for me. The only way I ever got him to rspond was to send the fourth email with one simple question "Are you still in business?"

He replied to that one so I placed the order. Shame on me.

I had R J Hedley make a rear pocket holster for my Seecamp .380 and I got it in three weeks and it was beautiful. I should have stuck with a winner. It makes me a little gun shy when a business doesn't even have a listed telephone number ;L

One45...I had the same experience; no response to inquiries and a long wait.
BUT, I've owned two of his pocket holsters (both Twin Peaks) and they're the best I've ever used.
His customer service could tighten up a bit, but Graham's work is first rate.
Best

Thanks for the replies, 32TUBB and Five-0.
First of all, I agree Mr. Hedley's products appear 1st-rate based
on everything I've heard. Both on Glock forum and Keltec forum.
Secondly, Mr. Graham does appear to have quality products and I
ordered one of his IWB holsters because I really liked the looks of
it.
However, when a site indicates 4-8 weeks and now it's almost 12;
one has to worry. Oh well, I'll keep sending him e-mails.

Thanks again. I'll let you know if and when I get it. Later.

Update on the order. Mr. Graham did respond via e-mail yesterday.
He apologized stating he was extremely busy and was behind on orders.
He promised to get my holster (some 12 weeks later; more or less)
to me this coming week. I'll keep my fingers crossed and my eyes
peeled for UPS or whatever he delivers with. Take care all. I'll
report back when it arrives.

Hi Guys!

I hope you can help me out - now that I´ve found this thread;Q

I come from Germany and also orderd two holsters from "Graham Holsters".

I´ve made my money order March, 31., 2004 !!!!!!!!

And NO holsters and NO reply when sending e-mails!!!!

5 (!!) Months (!!) after I´ve send the money.

In July I tried to send him a letter with the request for an answer per e-mail when I can except to get the holsters ... NO answer.

As you wrote there is no telephon number on his homepage ... with my bad english I had tried to get him on the phone...
:(

I have no idea what to do!!

If someone has the telephon number, would you maybe telephone him for me and ask him what is wrong???

Would you tell him, that I´m the German guy who orderd a "Maverick" Pocket holster (55.- US-Dollars) and a "Scorpion" holster (45.- US-Dollars) - both for the Walther TPH.

He wrote me he could send me the both holsters to Germany with USPS Global Priority mail for 8.- US-Dollars.

So he became 108.- US-Dollars from me...but till now after 5 Months I haven´t become either an holster or an answer...

;Q

Please help me out!!!!;Q

fn-b25:

Here is a link to Ron Graham's forum on his website:

http://p081.ezboard.com/bgrahamholsterforum

Near the bottom of the page you will see a spot for "Order Questions." If you go and click on that, it will take you to the next page where you can post a question about your order, and he will most likely respond to you there.

Hope this helps.

I don't care how good he is. If this is the way he conducts business, I wouldn't give him a dime. There are just too many other quality holster makers out there who deliver when promised, produce a quality product at a fair price, and don't give you excuses or BS. What I've read here is totally unacceptable.

fn-b25, Here in the states we have an organization called the Better Business Bureau. They keep track of businesses and how well (or badly) they're managed. Here's the link for the office that covers Grahm's area:

http://www.oregonandwesternwa.bbb.org/start.html

Once you get to their home page click on the "Company Reports & Consumer Services" icon. You'll be able to file your complaint on line with them. Be sure to give them as many details as possible (dates, dollar amounts, the number of times you've tried to contact him etc.) They should follow up for you. See if they have a phone number listed for him and if they give you one, email it to me and I'll be happy to call him for you.

It's a shame you're getting this type of treatment. Trust me, most State side businesses (especially small ones) are not run like this. If Graham doesn't give you any satisfaction I would post your story on every gun site that I could locate.

By the way, your English is a heck of a lot better than my German (and I drive a 5 Series) Good Luck! Lee

I've ordered a push up IWB holster for my Seecamp and a Wallet Holster from Graham, there was a long wait but the craftsmanship is evident. Things that are hand done take more time and are usually worth the wait. There is no shortage of plastic and nylon and it's usually in stock. Take the time to appreciate every contour and stitch of a hand made holster, so many operations and so little room for error cosmetically speaking.

Bak, no disrespect intended but I think you've bought into Graham's BS. I don't care if he personally tans the leather in Tibet and has them blessed by the Pope, it should not take that long to get a holster. He is obviously over-extended and there's no excuse for not promptly responding to emails and the like. Plus, you'd have a hard time convincing me that Graham is THAT much better than guys like Milt Sparks, Rosen, Hedley, etc. And they conduct themselves like professionals. Personally, I enjoy working with Kevin at KD Holtsters - we communicate, we discuss, he ships when promised.

Summer 2004
Well, 2004 has been a real roller coaster ride around here. I have been flooded with orders that have backed my workload up a good 3 months and beyond. One of the things I have tried to avoid is the long wait for one of my holsters, but this seems to have happened anyway and no matter how many man-hours I throw at the problem, it just seems to grow everyday.

Thinking about all of this and a possible solution, I have decided I will need to start doing business in a different manner. I do not want to eliminate any of my holster designs, however, as the bulk of my orders seem to favor the smaller “pocket” size pistols, I will be concentrating on these. The larger belt holsters will still be available, but with a longer waiting time.

My customer base is growing dramatically everyday, as is interest from several firearms manufacturers and the shooting press. I am honored and grateful for the support you have all shown my art. I have been able to bring new designs to the table, hire help, and produce better holsters and more of them. Money is always tight, but we are producing holsters as fast as we can make them and will continue to expand and look for better ways of doing so.

On a personal note, I have been working 16 hours a day, 7 days a week for the last few years. No vacation or time for the things I love, shooting, reloading, books, and the outdoors. This has cost me life long friendships, strained family relationships and generally made Jack a dull boy. I will begin this week, taking some weekends off, in the hopes of maintaining a balance between my own stress level and a better mindset building holsters during the week.

Where are we now? I still have a rather long backlog. But have managed to whittle it down from 400 holsters, to a little under 100, at this time. North American Arms now has a good inventory of in-stock holsters available on their site and we are able to re-stock them on demand. The new Rohrbaugh “signature” line exotics are finished and shipped. These will be available from their site soon and several more from my own. I have 5 full and part time employees that can now stand pretty much on their own building line holsters. I have several new designs off of the board and a couple more about finished. These should be interesting. I am making time to update and condense my online site in the next few days and will be adding pictures of some of the new stuff and a Rohrbaugh page.

My e-mail and communications still remain a nightmare and just more than one person can handle, but I will continue to work at it until we get it solved.

I’d like to thank my long term and new customers for your interest and support of my work and look forward to hearing from you all in the years to come.

Best,
Ron Graham

No Offense taken, I buy a lot of handmade items But only once from Grahm. For instance Dwayne Puckett AKA "Leatherman" www.armoralleather.com makes sheaths for all of my Busse knives. When I first used his services, the turnaround was about 4 weeks, as his business grew 6 weeks, now more in the order of 12 . Right now thats how long he's had my Strider AR and Busse Air Rescue for fitting. The wait grows longer as these one man shops reputations grow. Now if he didn't e-mail me now and then or answer any questions, it would be a little annoying. Every time I get a sheath it's a little more refined than the one before.

Bak, his work looks real nice and having you vouch for him is even better. I am not a knife guy myself but know others who are. I'll pass on the information. Thanks.

Graham does good work. I ordered from him once. I'm very satisfied with the holster and he actually has a couple more I'd like to have, but I'm not going through that again.

I'm sure Dwayne would appreciate the referral, he is a super guy to work with and his pricing does not come close to the quality you'll get. He is a regular poster on www.bladeforums.com
(Leatherman)and is a recommended maker one the busse knives site.

Saw the cigar reference in your sig, check out my recent adventure in cigar smoking here:

Bake, you gotta start start smoking better cigars. The smell from that Phillies Blunt probably p----d the cop off and it was dowhhill from there.

Obviously, you would benefit from my Kraigster414 "Introduction to Fine Cigars Course." (That was some story by the way) And remember, you are judged by the cigars you smoke.
