Hate to do it (it's too heavy for CCW for my liking) because I love the gun, but i'm going to trade in my K9 for a G26. Wondering if anybody could help me out on what I should accept for a trade in price. Gun is about 98%. I say 98 only because i have fired less than 300 rounds. No damage to the gun what so ever. Gun was cleaned and oiled after every range session and at least once a week. It has worked for me flawlessly and like I said, only trading it in because I can't get over the weight and after holding one, the thickness of the Glocks don't bother me. Any help you guys can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If the only reason you don't like it is the weight then go get a P9. Those are much lighter. But if you like the glock more then go with that.

I for one hate selling guns so I would just buy a glock and keep the k9.

What IMUS said. I just bought a new P9 this past weekend and love it already! I already had a G26 and wanted something a little thinner. Am awaiting my license but plan to switch off carrying both from time to time. The P9 is great for weight and shoots quite well.

Cheers!

Although I love GLocks, my BUG is a Kahr because with the 26, I cant get a good grip. Handle too small, so that may be something to consider. If not, then, just Keep it and get a K9. Good Luck.

Wow, I couldn't stand the thought of selling my K9. It's probably my favorite gun, but I can understand why you might want to go with the lighter weight of the Glock. The K9 does tend to get heavy after several hours of carrying, and my Glock 23, although larger, is more comfortable to carry for long periods of time.

You should check GunBroker.com and see what mint K9's are going for. They tend to go for anywhere from $400 - $570 depending on the condition and how many mags. I bought my well-worn K9 with 2 mags from a slighty overpriced local gun shop for $425, and it was worth every penny.
