The P9 Covert is a regular P9 with its frame cut down to match the size of the PM9's frame, so those are definitely interchangeable.

I just tried my P9/P9 Covert's upper on my K9's (definitely wouldn't work the other way around as the K9's upper lacks the front cuts for the front rail in the P9/P9 Covert's lower) frame & they are a no go like I figured. The P9/P9 Covert's upper will not slide all the way on to the K9's lower.

The barrels are also different between the K9 & the P9/P9 Covert... I tried the K9's barrel in the P9/P9 Coverts slide & it was also a no go on the K9's frame.

Steel & polymer Kahrs have different uppers for sure... differences are fairly slight, but they are there.
