What is it with people and dry firing? What could it possibly do to the gun that would make it such a big deal. Oh no after 10,000 dry fires you might have to replace a two dollar spring.

I was looking at an MK9 Elite at the gun show this weekend and I asked the guy if I could try the trigger on it. (just to be polite) and he says sure just don't snap it. I asked him what he meant by "snap it" He said don't dry fire it. I then said you do realize that in order to field strip the Kahr you have to dry fire it...everytime..it doesn't hurt anything. He ignored me and I went on my way.

Go to another vendor at the show and purchase a snapcap of the correct caliber :)

Better yet, Go to a knowledgeable dealer and buy from him as you will be allowed to dryfire the gun you are considering purchasing.

You don’t have to be intelligent to sell guns! ;f
