So I'm one of those people who never shoots as well as he would like, especially beyond 10m.

Surprised the hell out of myself this afternoon though. At the end of the range day, I put 5 of 5 on a human torso-sized target at 25m and 4 of 9 on the same at 50m.

It would seem slow fire and focusing on the front sight works wonders.

Yes it does...

Have a solid stand. Focus on the front sight and pull that trigger as slow as possible, Take your time and keep the pistol aimed at your target. When I practice 50m, I load one at a time and I take my time, after a while, it gets easier and once you can cope with 50m shooting, 25m gets easy cause you will have learned to take your time pulling that trigger when you want accuracy.

One other thing also. If you continue practicing this way,you speed will naturally increase too. You won't notice it at first, but somewhere down the road, you will suddenly realize that you are accomplishing the same shots much quicker. And you won't even have to try to increase your speed. It's a natural progression that will come with continued shooting.
