older P9/Coverts have any problems?

I just bought a new P9 Covert and they had to ship it from another gun shop. When I got it home I noticed the test fired case was back in 3/03! I've read of some of the PM9s had some problems a while back, has the P9 Covert "changed" in the last year and a half, or did I get basically what would be made today? Thanks for any info.

The ONLY issue I've seen or read about is the trigger pin drifting out. The solution is for Kahr to drill and pin it.

Mine is not drilled and pinned. I haven't sent it in to have it done as the drifting is not an issue until you have over a hundred rounds down range.

Coverts are just cut down P9’s… P9’s have been around for a while now.
