G30 hot ammo

Would anyone here name the 45ACP 230 FMJ ammo they have tried that closely resembles the performance of their hot 230 JHPs.

Looking to practice and play IDPA with the same level of recoil (or close) with a less expensive FMJ.

Golden sabers are a great round but a little pricey for regular practice or matches.

The new CCI Blazer Brass is decent ammo. I've also been favorably impressed with MagTech.

You may want to try Fiocchi 230 gr ball. You can get it at a decent price from The Sportsman's Guide http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=92045
It is loaded a little hotter than WWB, UMC, Blazer, etc, though it still isn't as hot as some defensive ammo. What I like about it, other than the price, is that it burns very cleanly.

Another vote for the 230gr CCI Blazer Brass. I don't have a chronograph, but it feels just like their 230gr Gold Dots. I pay $11.99 per box of 50 at my local gun shop.

I second the Fiocchi 230gr. FMJ. It's cleaner and I can feel more umph from it.
