Free bump.

Michigun? You seem to be our detailed photo layout Kahr-guy! :)

I used your excellent lube diagram the other day. Perfection!

I have indeed started a Kahr "detail strip" guide with pictures... working on it when I can... hopefully it will be finished soon!

Michigun, in exchange for a detail stripping diagram/explanation, I am prepared to name my first child after you. No better, I will GIVE you my first child.

The alternative is to convince AGI to produce a video/dvd and they do not seem to be in a hurray to do that. Thanks for your help.

Hold on a second there! I've got enough kids of my own! If anything you could help me out by taking in one of mine! ;f

I could do a video faster & easier then I could do/finish these "detail strip" instructions! (Maybe I'm getting a little too carried away with my "detail strip instruction" project... I've been known for that. ;))

The video would only be 5-10 minutes long tops as the Kahrs upper is REAL easy to do. (I won’t get into the lower at all for now as that is a whole different deal really.)

I could more then likely do a video shipped to one’s doorstep for $10 tops… even less if one were to supply their own VHS tape. (The only thing I’m missing currently (haven’t done the research) to be able to do a DVD is the software for downloading my digital cam to my CPU at home.)

I wouldn’t be in it for the money, nor would my video have any special graphics (You can bet that it will be detailed & easy to follow/do though… just with no frills!) so the above estimates could be high for all I know now. I wouldn’t even care if my video was copied & distributed around to others as long as it wasn’t for profit.

I’m pretty sure VHS cassettes can be had for a $1 each (plus tax) at the local “dollar stores”…….

I suspect there'll be a separate thread announcing it. The document wouldn't have to be very long, but it might be nice to incorporate the pic of lube points as well as, suggested areas for polishing, for instance, comparison pic of the 2 mag releases, all that stuff that's not in the manual (and probably never will be). Most verbose part of it would probably be a legal disclaimer. When it comes out I'll throw a link to it in the SN thread too.

Book or video? Louis L'Kahr or CB deMichigun? ;f

Wow great job. I did Ok with it. The only thing I had trouble with is the reassembly of the firing pin block/extractor/3-piece springy post thing part.

Might be worthwhile putting together a step by step for that particular segment of reassembly. Overall its very similar to the glock but the ammount of fancy machining in the kahr slide is 10 times that of the glock. Its a wonder the kahrs are not 300 more than a glock.

Good call Wulfenite! I added a "hint" near the bottom about a little trick that may help with that. Check it out now. ^c
