I don't really like the grips that come on the GSR. What do you guys suggest for good grips? Pictures would be a great help also! I'm even thinking about the black rubber ones that are on the s&W 1911 and the Kimber tle.

I'm even thinking about the black rubber ones that are on the s&W 1911 and the Kimber tle. bluewater 07-05-2004, 22:38 I purchased Alumagrips for my GSR and I love them. Chris the owner of Alumagrips personally answered all of my questions when I e-mailed him for information. He recommended that I purchase them from Brownells because they were less expensive there. Can you believe that? Good Luck! ;? http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v314/bluewater8/Alumagrips_on_GSR.jpg Compy 07-05-2004, 22:39 www.vzgrips.com stepper 07-05-2004, 22:55 Bluewater, Did you shoot the GSR with the grips that came with the gun? If so, what did you think? You must not have liked it since you changed the grips! What are those grips like that you have on the GSR? Thanks bluewater 07-06-2004, 05:58 stepper - I shot my GSR many times with the stock grips. I have pretty tough hands but the stock grips are very sharp and seemed to make my right hand tender, so I opted for different grips. Also, the Alumagrips are much better looking, in my opinion. ;? stepper 07-06-2004, 17:47 Are the Alumagrips plastic? Its hard to tell what kind of material they are made of. bluewater 07-06-2004, 17:57 stepper - Go to http://www.alumagrips.com/ Aluma = Aluminum ;? stepper 07-06-2004, 18:32 Originally posted by bluewater stepper - Go to http://www.alumagrips.com/ Aluma = Aluminum ;? I don't know anyone who likes them. live-free-r-die 07-06-2004, 21:44 I like my stock GSR grips. Sgt_Steiner 07-06-2004, 21:48 I stand corrected. stepper 07-06-2004, 22:33 Originally posted by man0ica Here's my GSR with Carbon Creation grips................ http://MA.smugmug.com/photos/5711958-L.jpg I like these grips. With use, they get darker, but can be cleaned with soapy water to return to the original look. http://www.fototime.com/{68F26295-D4DC-439E-9422-F1635BF98B10}/picture.JPG Short Cut 07-10-2004, 23:16 I'm using Alumagrips on my rail gun.
