reading some threads re various kahr issues caused me to want to double-check kahr's warranty language for peace of mind....but not wanting to get my fat butt off my chair, i simply jumped to kahr's website to read the most recent online owner's manual, which stated that kahr warrants the pistol to be free from defects for FIVE YEARS!!!!
believe me, THAT got my fat butt out of the chair, and into my plastic molded gun case and owner's manual that accompanied my purchase, to re-read the warranty language, which stated for the LIFETIME of the owner. this meant one of three things: 1) this was a mistake missed by the online editor; or 2) kahr has amended or has considered amending its warranty for future offerings; or 3) i only have five years to live.
interestingly enough, the specs found under each pistol model list of features (i checked) describes the warranty as "limited lifetime"
does anyone in the kahr loop know if this was a mistake, or whether kahr is backpedaling off its lifetime warranty on current models? if so, glad i bought mine when i did
