Glock: For Hire

I just brought home my "new" G35. This is my second G35 having sold my first (regrettably) three years ago.
I am going to gloat for a second here about the benefits of working part time at a gun store. First my discount, I can't give exact numbers because my boss lurks here occasiionally and knows my GT handle, but let's use the word "cost" and leave it at that. Secondly I was allowed to keep the gun on layaway for an extended period of time and pay it off through a small payroll deduction. Thirdly I got to shoot it whenever I wanted to thus the 1600+ rounds through it already.
I made some mods on it, mostly to keep it street/IDPA legal. I got rid of the extended mag release and put a standard one on. I also put trijicon nightsights on it. Lastly I put the NY1 spring w/ the 3.5 lb connector on it as well. I know some people don't care for the latter but the G35 will also pull duty as a carry gun. My G23 and G27 have the same spring and connector set up, however due to the number of rounds and dry fires done with them their respective triggers feel smoother. The G35 will get there.
I am looking forward to doing IDPA with this gun. Can anyone recommend a holster that covers the length of the barrel and slide with a quick release retention strap. I am not looking for a G22 holster because part of the aforementioned barrel and slide on the G35 stick out and that bugs me.
Thanks.
Best,
Dave
