Just curious about the overall quality of CMC parts. They are MIM correct? Anybody have good or bad experiences with them?

Kimber uses them and thats good enough for me. :)
I've used his ejectors and they were fine.
I've never had a problem with them.

Your question is Loaded, as CMC make all sorts of Parts. What SPICIFIC PART is you asking about.
Power Magazines work well. ;)

Small parts, slide stop, hammer, sear, trigger etc. I had a slide stop on one of my guns, it broke in the first 200 rounds (it was cmc), just curious if it was a fluke or if it happens more. I am gonna replace some parts in one of my 1911's.
I could be the slide stop, or it could be an indication of something more critical like a poorly fit barrel or a case where some put a longer link in. This is done by some to 'improve accuracy', it's actually hogwash. When you replace the slide stop also put a #3 Wilson link in. Call Ray at CMC and he will replace the slidestop I'm sure, he just wants the old part back. That will also give you the opportunity to order the other parts direct. They make the best disconnector I have ever seen, and the rest of the trigger group is outstanding as well.

Thanks, it was actually a brand new gun, the manufacturer replaced it, but it just got me to thinking bout the quality. Since that time, the replacement part has held up perfectly, probably an isolated incident, but never hurts to ask.
they are great JUST DONT use any of there power mags in aluminum framed guns and you cant go wrong :-)
Loandr.
