No sound ???

I am not getting any sound from my PC I know it is not the speakers themselves becouse I tried some head sets.

Is there a setting I need to adjust or is somthing just broke?

Ok lets see, have to pulled anything out lately?
Make sure your speakers are plugged into the sound port and not the headset port.

Ok look in control panel and double click on the sound icon.
make sure nothing is mutted.

also make sure all your sliders are visable by going into the properites section.

sound card enabled? correct driver installed? volume in the OS turned up?

I don't know how the settings got changed but I was able to change things through the controle panel.
