Local dealer (who is a very good guy) has a refurbished G19, 3 10rd mags, new case, night sights, etc. Asking $420.00 Any opinions?
I was originally looking at a G26 but the G19 actually feels better in my hands. Also figured out that it is really not much larger than the G26. This is a used LEO weapon that looks 100% after being reconditioned. Full factory warranty. Thanks.

If it's a factory refurb, it's as good as new. Do it.

I got the same deal on a factory refurb, paid $425. Awsome deal, go for it.
Good price, I would not be afraid.

Yup good deal.
The range/gun store I work at just got our rental G19 back from Glock - factory reconditioned. They even replaced the frame - it had a crack on one of the rear frame rails! Came back with the original tupperware-style box and 3 10 rd mags; albeit one of them was a 10 rd .40 mag for the G23!;P
Asking price: $449.95 or maybe it was $429.95???

I know I'll get jumped for saying this but, I'm not sure I'd buy the gun IF the slide/barrel/frame numbers didn't match.
Does it make the gun less accurate? Of course not. It does make the gun less desireable and harder to re-sell if needed.
That's my feeling.

This is a used LEO weapon - doesn't matter; that looks 100% after being reconditioned - it very likely is. Full factory warranty - academic, as Glocks don't really, from a practical viewpoint, ever go OUT of warranty.
Tell him to throw in 1 15rd NDF mag for defensive carry and then pay him what he asks. :)

Did you buy this yet ? If not, reply with the name and location of the store and I'm sure someone here will snatch it up.

At that price, and in that as new condition, better check to see if it is still available.

Bought it today - my first Glock. Slide/barrel/frame numbers match. It looks like new - even the dealer couldn't believe it. Probably 98% or better. Got rid of my Ruger P89 - a good old gun that was totally reliable. Sorry to see it go but these things happen. I'm now all polymer except for my SP-101 .357 - have a P-32, P-11 and the Glock G19. I now realize that you can't appreciate a Glock until you pull the slide off and really examine the construction. Simple, well made and beautiful in design (at least I think so). Hope to get the new P-11 and G19 to the range tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Thanks to all for the advice. And yes, I still like my Kel-Tec pistols. The Glock is just in a different category.
