Kahr is pronounced ??

I will be receiving my carry permit in the near future and have been researching small carry pistols..I have had a Glock 17 since 1987, like it so much I thought the Glock 26 was the way to go for a small pistol.....After much research the Kahr P9 is at the top of my very short list..IS KAHR pronounced, CAR ? Seems logically but one never knows..

I just got a P9 about a month ago and really like it. Small, light and accurate. I think it's pronounced "car". Good luck with your purchase, you won't be sorry with a P9.

You guys have it right... whenever I've called Kahr they all pronounced it as "car".

Except in Massachusetts, where it's "caahh" - but they're referring to something with four wheels that you dig out in the winter, 'cause they probably want to put yours on a list of some kind.:joker:
