I finally located the part I needed to tighten the firing pin plunger retainer. After looking at all the Tool Specialty Stores in town, I found what I needed at Sears and it's part of a 32 piece screwdriver set (PN 47486). It sells for $19.99 and even though I just needed the one part, I had to purchase the whole set. The part I needed is called a #4 spanner bit in case anyone is looking to purchase one.
The firing pin plunger retainer was almost all the way out when I noticed it. I cleaned things up and applied Locktite (red) to keep this retainer from backing out.
