View Full Version : External PCMCIA card reader?
Anyone know if (where) I can still get an external PCMCIA card reader for an ultra small form-factor box with no expansion card slots? It would have to be usb, firewire, or parallel interface.
This is for a cellular GPRS data card.
Thanks!

Have you tried looking here. There are several listed with many versions of USB support. www.newegg.com is one of the best around for many items.

I have a USB Lexar Media one. Works just fine. I think I got it at WallyWorld. Came with an adapter for compact flash too.

I need one designed for actively running a cellular data card, not just reading files. According to the documentation on all the ones I've found so far, that's all they're for.
Thanks for any info, though...
