I chronographed some Blazer 9mm 115gr bullets today at the range and I got.

Low: 1229fps
High:1232fps

Deviation was very good, plus I was surprised at the speed too.

That's getting into .40S&W power. Not bad for cheap plinking ammo.

From what gun? What barrel length?

Thanks for the info. That does sound pretty hot, definatly better than WWB. Isnt NATO ammo loaded right round that velocity?

A friend of mine had his chrono set up one day and I was getting the same FPS out of the winchester white box.

Was this blazer brass or the Aluminum cased blazer?

Sorry for the lack of info.

I was shooting them out of my Baby Eagle 9mm with a 4.5" barrel.

These are the Blazer rounds with the aluminum casings.

In any of the calibers that I have shot the aluminum cased Blaser in, they always seemed to have more snap than just about any other practice ammo I've used. This includes 9mm, .45, & .40. I find that in .40, they definitely have more zing to them.
