How do I tell an authentic from a reproduction? What's the going price for the real deal?
The brown pre-ww-2 beat $40-$50 Real nice $75 to $150. The later black ones cheaper I paid $25 for one mint, but I have seen them as high as $40.
Which ones you looking for?
The flap holster, or the tanker holster?
Color is everything with these holsters - pre-war brown (WWII) is a very desirable color. I have two tanker holsters, one black and a newer one that I was issued which is almost natural.
Flap holsters, WWII version, are expensive in good condition.
Here's a shot of an 1943 M3 Sears Saddlery and a 1944 M7 Enger-Kress.
